My responsibilities included the following: I taught a wide variety of age ranges and levels of English. I taught an age range of 12 - 50+, with levels across the spectrum from A1 absolute beginners to students striving for fluency at the C1 level. Teaching classes designed to prepare students for the Cambridge English examinations. Working through practice materials and arming them with the knowledge to improve their English and to pass the exam. Focusing on pronunciation and fluidity alot in addition to the exam practice, acknowledging the difference between exam preparation and real, natural communication. Teaching a weekly rota of adults in individual classes, this involved a different method of teaching and a different style to the classes. Classes such as these are more tailored to the individual needs of the student.
