How much points do I need to pass the IELTS exam?
The IELTS exam is not about pass or fail scores. Your test results are reported in band scores from 1.0, the lowest, to 9.0, the highest, in half-band increments. You will then receive an overall band score and individual band scores for each part of the test: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
What does the IELTS exam look like?
The IELTS exam uses four papers: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. There are two different IELTS modules: Academic and General Training. The Speaking and Listening tests are the same in both modules, but the Reading and Writing tests are different.
